Founded by veterans of the correctional electronic controls market, Security Automation Systems, Inc. is a privately held corporation. It is our mission to provide complete, flexible solutions to our customer’s needs, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Security Automation Systems specializes in providing and installing customized, automated security electronic control systems for correctional facilities, including jails, prisons, juvenile facilities, judicial centers and police departments. Security Automation Systems also provides solutions for other government-based and educational facilities.
Our typical systems integrate the control and monitoring functions of several different systems (door control, intercom, control, video control, card access, etc.) into one or more graphical user interface station(s). These easy-to-use touchscreen stations are used as the primary operator interface, providing seamless control to the operator(s) of all the different components of the security system.
Our company utilizes non-proprietary hardware and software as the basis of our control systems. By providing non-proprietary hardware and software, our customers have the flexibility of choosing multiple sources (vendors, distributors, installers) for parts and service, reducing overall long-term maintenance, repair, modification and upgrade costs.
Security Automation Systems holds factory certifications from several of the manufacturers’ products that we install, including Wonderware, Kantech, March Networks, Milestone Systems, GE Security (Dukane) and others. We are insured and bonded. We hold the necessary license required to do work in the state of Illinois (Illinois Private Alarm Contractor License #127.001366).
